{Paper flower from circles}

Hi there!
Sorry I've not posted for a few days, last week was half term holiday.  The first part of the week was spent getting ready for the last part!  We headed to London on the Thursday and stayed with my sister  Helen and her family.  Friday was spent packing biscuits Helen had decorated then setting the church hall up for Helen and Chris' 15 yr wedding anniversary and their 10 year being at St John's Wood Road Baptist Church (Chris is the Pastor there).

I had offered to create some decorations for the tables so made these huge roses out of serviettes, and some smaller ones from the spiral flower die.

Helen bought these yummy heart shaped ginger bread biscuits from a fabulous shop called Tiger, living in rural Wales we miss out on some interesting shops.  I managed to pick up a few little Christmas presents!  Anyway, she had been inspired by some pictures on Pinterest, so she piped with blue icing.  The theme was white, silver and blue, the same colours she had for her wedding.  I designed some tags using Picmonkey, printed, cut and punched the with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

As a way for people to write some personal message to the couple I cut up some shapes and punched holes in them so they could be strung up afterwards.  There was also a box of silver butterfly and flower punchie for people to decorate their messages.

Then for something extra special I made this paper flower frame to be used as a photo prop

Here is a little video showing it...

And here are some pictures of it in use...

Helen still fits in her wedding dress...just!

Me and my daddy, you can see who I got the eyebrows from!

And finally, here is a smaller version of the flowers on the frame with a bit of extra stamping.

  1. What a beautiful frame! I really love it. In your video you show the different dies you used. The Sizzix vine with the cute little round leaves is my favorite. Do you know the name of that die? Or even a number? I would love to find it for a similar project I want to make. Thanks for your help. I'm so glad that I found your Blog.
