{Scrapbooking with Succulents}

Ok so don't die of shock, but I've made a scrapbook page! I think the last time I made one was over a year ago. I'd forgotten how much fun it is to work on this kind of scale.  It can be scarey if you are a cad make and your canvas is usually no bigger than 6x6.

Last weekend I organised a craft day and one of the ladies told me she would love to have a go at 12x12 scrapbook pages. That chat reminded me how much I used to enjoy it.  Then as I thought about some of the stamp sets, dies and punches that I have I realised that they would translate so well to the type of scrapbooking I enjoy.

So, this girl is inspired! Anyone else out there like using Stampin' Up! supplies for scrapbooking?

Here is a video tutorial

{Roses and polkas}

One of my favourite combinations on anything, whether it be clothing, home ware or soft furnishings is roses and dots.  It is such a classic and well tried combination of pattern.

For this card I used the beautiful 3 step rose from Picture Perfect, the detailed leaf from kinda Eclectic and the small dots from Timeless Textures.  Then to finish it off with those two little butterflies I used Grateful Bunch.  At this time of year I am fortunate enough to see butterflies in pairs as they seem to dance around each other in mid air.

New catalogue...new colours!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
No... it's not Christmas, well it may as well be for me as I love colour and this is the time of year I get to introduce to you and play with 5 new colours to the Stampin' Up! palette.
Every year they introduce 5, and they are with us for 2 years, so although I'm mourning the loss of Mint Macaron, these 5 new beauties are keeping me VERY happy.

If you would like to look at the new catalogue that will be going live on June 1st, please contact me and I'll send one out to you asap!

So without further ado, they are
...Fresh Fig...
...Berry Burst...
...Powder Pink...
...Lemon Lime Twist...
...Tranquil Tide...

To accompany the new inks, pens and cardstock there is a beautiful in colour paper stack.  Here is a card using all 5 of the colours.
