{Christmas Challenge Roundup and prize winner!}

Well! What a year of Christmas Challenges.
A huge thank you to my fellow demonstrators, Denise Kepple Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin'  from America Ellen Woodbridge  and Rosalie Desmond from Australia.
It's been great to work and play with you over the last 10 months.

It all started as an idea I got from a fellow demonstrator called Julie, she created a Christmas challenge group for her customers.  The idea developed more as I spoke to other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators I knew across the world.  We ended up with a Facebook group for everyone to share what they have made, and it has been so inspirational to see all the different creations.

It's also great to have a stash of Christmas cards, tags, packaging and decor all ready.  I'm off to Kenya today for 2 weeks and will be returning to Christmas preparations.  I look forward to telling you about my trip when I get back - and yes it's going to involve crafts.

Here is a roundup of what I made for the challenges over the last few months.

January - Tags

February  - Non Traditional Colours

March - Packaging that can be stored flat

April - Black and White and a Pop of Colour

{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Wrap it Up}

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop!

I'm so grateful and honoured to be part of this wonderful group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators and creatives.

The theme is "Wrap it Up" - to get you inspired for wrapping up your Christmas gifts.
I decided to make some highly decorative and textured tags, and use them with the fabulous packaging Stampin' Up! has to offer.
To be quite honest I love snowflakes and wanted an excuse to use a lot of them.

Here is a video tutorial with a few tips.

{Stampin Up Onstage Birmingham 2018 Part 1}

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by.  Last weekend I was in Birmingham with a ton of other demonstrators, some from as far as Australia!  We were inspired by presentations and new products.

As we were celebrating 30 years of Stampin' Up! the people at our table went with a pearl theme, so we all wore black, white or grey and pearls.

The reason I'm holding a picture of someone, is because they had gone to Orlando for the bigger event Stampin' Up! organised.

As my sister and I love dressing up we took the theme a bit further and ended up looking like flapper girls! Here we are posing with our new stamps!

It was lovely to meet up with other demos who we are getting to know.

and have a bit of a laugh!

Here is a video of all the gifts we got from Stampin' Up! and the gifts and swaps from other demonstrators.

Look out for another blog post with all the pictures I took of new products.

{Easy ombre technique with Stamparatus}

The stamparatus has been proving to be very versatile, I have seen this technique done a few times, and it is certainly one that "wows" people when they see me demonstrate it.

I know some crafting purists would say that this may be taking the "handmade" out of handmade, however for others it pushes their creativity to a place where it's just simpler.  Also for those of my customers who have dexterity issues when trying to hold a block and stamp it where they want it to go, the Stamparatus has made what was impossible for them previously, possible.  It's been liberating and freeing for them to be able to stamp in a way that I take for granted with hands that work.

So, here is a card that shows off one of the amazing features of the Stamparatus.  You can stamp a precisely repeated pattern, and depending on the stamp create an ombre effect.
