{New In Colours 2018}

I love colour, I also especially love having new colours to play with on my craft desk.  It invigorates me and helps me fall in love again with other colours as I play with new colour combinations.

Here are a series of cards focusing particularly on the new in colours from Stampin' Up! and how they they look compared to other shades.
(Sorry about the slight variation in my lighting)

Here is a video explaining the new colours and how they sit with others.

{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday - Birthday Blossoms}

Sad to say goodbye to this stamp set, it's such a classic, great for stamping a quick card, or creating something a bit more intricate. As can be seen in the Peach coloured card in this blogpost.

I mixed it up with a new Stamp set called Artisan Textures.

Here is a sped up video with some pretty music.
Scroll down to see the list of all the items and colours I used.

{Using up some paper scraps to make some cards}

Happy Bank Holiday Monday to all those in the UK.
We had quite a storm on Sunday night, it's been a long time since I heard thunder that loud!
The brook beside our house got clogged up with debris and caused quite a bit of havoc as it overflowed down the hill and into the hospital below.  Apparently we made the news!

Anyway, the clean up operation has begun, and services have resumed.  It's quite incredible what water can do.

Here is a little video of some card making I did using up some scraps from my table.

{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Stamparatus}

Hello, and welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop featuring the Stamparatus.

It is my absolute honour to be invited to take part in this again, do remember to have a look at the other blogs in this hop for more creative ideas with the Stamparatus (not long now to be able to order one).

The first project is a card with a background created with the Stamparatus.  I know it's quite subtle, however if you look closely you can see that the Marbled Stamp mage is more than one colour.

Here is how I did it

The next project is a bag, again I used a bit of the background I had created before, then I used the Stamparatus to create a repeat border all around the top of the bag... I promise it really is all the way round!

Here is how I did that...

Do you spot some new products? As well as the fab new colours, I also used some gorgeous new embellishments in the way of coloured pearls and faceted gems, aren't they yummy?!  If you can't wait till June to get your hands on these, then how about joining the Stampin' Up! club? For £99 you can choose £130 of product, and these sneak peek items are on the list of what you can choose.
